Meg Strickler

Meg Strickler received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Delaware in 1991, where she majored in Criminal Justice; and her Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law in 1997, where she was recognized by the Dean of Students for her outstanding academic record. She is licensed to practice in all state criminal courts in the Georgia, New York, and California. As a criminal defense attorney for the past 10 years, she has defended clients against all types of charges and has tried numerous jury and bench trials. Recently recognized in Atlanta magazine as a Rising Star in their Super Lawyer edition, Ms. Strickler’s criminal defense work is characterized by her painstaking attention to detail which leaves "no stone unturned" and constitutes a critical, pro-active approach to criminal defense work.

Ms. Strickler is currently an adjunct professor for Emory University School of Law's Kessler-Eidsen Institute for Trial Advocacy, where she instructs law school students in the art of case preparation and trial advocacy. Ms. Strickler also teaches ethics to first year Emory Law students through a three day round table discussion involving first year law students, law school faculty and practicing attorneys.

Ms. Strickler is an officer and a committee member of the International Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section where she is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars. She is also a licensed member of the American, Californian, New York, and Georgia Bar Associations, as well as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Through these organizations she has helped shape public opinion and legislative policy concerning domestic and international criminal law.
