Liaison

The attorneys of ILDC represent the families of persons arrested and held on criminal charges in foreign countries. The attorneys will act as the supervising attorney over the case overseeing the work of the local legal counsel and the liaison between the family and the arrested family member, the local attorney, the foreign criminal justice system, and all other parties involved. The attorneys will also learn and then explain to the client how the local court system in which their family member is a prisoner works. The attorneys are uniquely qualified to provide these services, because of Mike's and Dick's 30 plus years of international criminal defense work, membership in the International Prosecutors Association, and the attorneys' involvement and professional contacts in the IBA criminal law committee.
